GOT NEST: ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT Digital Accessibility Commitment for the Got Nest Web Platform and Mobile Applications
Effective Date: July/27/2026 Last Updated: July/27/2026
ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT: Got Nest is committed to providing a platform that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing engineering obligation, not a one-time project.
1. Our Commitment and Legal Context
Alves Holdings LLC (the “Company”) intends the Got Nest platform to be usable by people with disabilities, consistent with the goals of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. §§12181–12189) as applied to consumer-facing digital services, and — because housing search is the platform's core function — with the accessibility objectives of the federal Fair Housing Act.
2. Conformance Target
Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) — the benchmark referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in digital-accessibility settlements and rulemaking. We describe this as a target we actively work toward and measure against, rather than a certification of perfect conformance: accessibility of a continuously evolving product is a process of continuous auditing and remediation.
3. Measures We Take
▪ Design and Development Practice: Accessibility criteria are considered in design and implementation, including keyboard operability, sufficient color contrast, text alternatives for meaningful images, and screen-reader-compatible structure. ▪ High-Interaction Features: The platform's most interaction-heavy tools — map-based property search, the monthly cost calculator, and the AI chat interface — receive specific attention, and the information they present is also made available in accessible, non-visual formats (structured listing pages and text-based results). ▪ Mobile Accessibility: We strive to support the native accessibility features available on iOS and Android, including screen readers and other platform accessibility technologies, where reasonably practicable. ▪ Ongoing Auditing: The platform is periodically evaluated against WCAG 2.1 AA, and identified barriers are logged and remediated as part of normal engineering work.
4. Known Limitations
In the interest of transparency: ▪ Some content originates from third-party sources — in particular, property photographs and descriptions supplied through the MLS data feed — which may arrive without adequate text alternatives. Where the source data lacks them, we provide the structured property facts (price, address, features, status) in accessible text form alongside the media.
▪ Map-based browsing is an inherently visual interaction. Every property reachable on the map is equally reachable through the accessible list and search views.
5. Feedback and Contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this platform, or need assistance or information in an alternative format, contact us. Reports are reviewed and answered, and confirmed barriers enter our remediation backlog: Alves Holdings LLC (d/b/a Got Nest) 19607 Red Copper Ln, Cypress, TX 77433 support@gotnest.com · 832-766-4366 Please include the page or feature involved and the assistive technology in use, if any — it materially speeds up reproduction and repair.
